I have been the team photographer for the Lehigh Valley Storm for the year. It has been an exciting opportunity and yet a challenge. This image was taken at their last home game against the Central Penn Piranha

The season for the Lehigh Valley Storm is almost underway. Saturday was a scrimmage with the Red City Outlaws. This was my first time shooting a scrimmage and it was a interesting to say the least. You really do have to stay on your toes as the play does not always end on the field. These guys are seriously talented and I look forward to getting some great images during the regular season.

Trundle Manor and the Mattress Factory

Great trip to Pittsburgh a week and a half ago. I visited a few interesting locations with my son  Gerry. Both location a very unique and photographer friendly !!! I made a slide show of my favorite images and set it to music by a  group called… This Way to the Egress.  Sarah Egress granted me permission to use one of their songs from their upcoming album release.

Trundle Manor

If you have never been to Trundle Manor, you should go!!! This is a very unique Roadside attraction !! All of the items are either created by the artist ” Mr Arm”  or collected. The tour was given by the young lady in this image.  This a roadside attraction. This image was taken in low light condition with no flash. It was process it in light and presets were used to provide a unique feeling.Trundle Manor that you will never forget.

HP C6380 Review

This is not much of a review but more of a statement of disappointment. I had the printer close to a year and finally decided to give it the boot. I ran low on ink and it got the dreaded “ink initialization error”. If you do a google search on this you will find MANY users trying to resolve the same issue.
It turn out the error happens due to low or no ink in one of the cartridges. The printer suck air into the line and you get the initialization error. If this were a pro printer, I would understand but this is just a consume model. I was able to resolve the issue three times. It happened again and I just could not take it any longer. If it happens to you. Follow the instructions below. It worked for me several times.

  1. Press and Hold the Print Photos & Red Eye Removal button.
  2. Release the buttons at the same.
    1. Display should say  Enter Special Key Combo
  3. Press and release in sequence Red Eye Removal, Print Photos, Red Eye Removal
  4. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says  System Configuration Menu
    1. Of course you are looking at the LCD panel on the printer
  5. Press and release the ok button
  6. Your display should  SUPPORT now
  7. Scroll to the right until you see the reset menu
  8. Now press and release the ok button
  9. Press the right arrow key to look for the menu  Partial Reset and then  press ‘OK
  10. The printer will turn off and then power on by itself. Wait 20 seconds and if it does not power off and on, do it manually. This will give you a complete reset.

Hope you find this information useful. I really hope you do not have this printer.

For the record, I switched to Epson

New York City Library

I went into the city to see a play. I was fortunate to have enough time and a great tour guide. I thought the New York library was a great place to get some interesting images. This is a HDR image..

Low Light Photography at Rippers Pub

I was having a beer with my friends from the band Midway on Monday evening at Rippers Pub.This was taken held. I am really impressed at what the Canon 7D can do with low light.
